Chef

The story of La Sirena starts with Cat Traxler. Cat opened Well Body Natural Foods at 3708 34th St in 1978, then opened La Diosa and recently managed Cafe J. After growing up in Lubbock and Austin, Jessica Fultz, Cat's daughter, earned her culinary degree at San Francisco's California Culinary Academy in 2012. Chef Jessica moved to Santa Fe where she worked under David Sellers at Santacafé before becoming the first female bartender at The Pink Adobe. She moved to Austin as an Executive Chef and returned to open La Sirena in 2016.
